Our aim is to provide fundraising and governance support and guidance to registered animal welfare charities operating in the Souss-Massa area of Morocco.

We have developed a set of criteria to help us to decide who we can provide support to.  If you are interested in finding out more or would like to apply to us for support, please send us an email.

Le Coeur sur la Patte | SARA

Le Couer sur la Patte was founded in 2013 by Michele Augsburger.  She set out with the aim of improving the lives of the many street animals living in and around Agadir, Morocco.  In 2016 Le Coeur sur la Patte and the local commune in the city of Agadir to set up the first ever government subsidised TNVR program in Morocco. TNVR or Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release schemes are recognised the world over as the only sure way of eradicating Rabies and the most humane and effective way of controlling street dog populations.

Le Coeur sur la Patte is currently looking after around 1200 animals in their Sunshine Animal Refuge Agadir (SARA) project and regularly provides food for those still living on the street.  They are operating a reduced scale TNVR program for dogs and cats and are continuing to work for change in Morocco.  You can find about more about Le Coeur sur la Patte and SARA on their websites.

They rely 100% on donations to feed and care for the animals rescued.  If you would like to donate you can click on one of the links below to donate via Just Giving or via their website.
